1. Utilise the creative and performing arts and in so doing construct bridges with artistes around the world for the attainment of world peace and poverty eradication in their respective countries and territories.

2. Create forums and symposia for artists and other cultural bodies to discuss ways and means to create peace and eradicate poverty.

3. Assist artists and cultural organizations that initiate programs to realize peace, eradicate poverty and help children to overcome the various consequences of war.

4. Collaborate with artists around the world towards the realisation of the United Nations’ (UN) Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), as they relate to the reduction of poverty and hunger in their respective countries.

5. Lobby world leaders, political organizations, warlords, warring factions and relevant bodies to create mechanisms and social structures so that world peace and poverty eradication could be achieved.

6. Lobby the UN to adopt a resolution banning the utilization of war as a means to peace and solving conflicts.

The Resolution would also include:

a. the dismantling of all weapons and war machinery

b. a ban on the production of weapons of war and of human destruction, and making such production an international crime,

c. the diversion of the intellectual, creative and financial resources that are presently used for the purposes of war to a program for the creation of peace on the earth , eradicating poverty and fighting the HIV/AIDS pandemic.
